Keep in mind, a safe is still going to heat up when it is in a house fire. Even though the fire cannot penetrate the safe, it can still melt what is inside. If you are storing CDs, DVDS, photos, or other family mementos with your guns, you should look into a media safe. This safe is going to control the temperature inside of the safe and prevent condensation from building up.
